Shortlife Pots
Short life biodegradable Vitapots are designed to last 8 – 12 weeks on a bench dependant on growing conditions. Roots will normally penetrate the pots sides and base within 5 weeks.
Applications:
• 65-90mm propagation pots for plants and cuttings
• 90mm tomato and cucumber plants for sale
• 110 – 125mm tomato plants grown in nurseries using growbags etc.
• 125mm standard height cucumbers
• 110 – 125mm trees and shrubs
• 160mm herbaceous plants and shrubs
• 100mm long lack of base can be used for tap rooted plants including runner beans
• Sweet pea tubes can be used for tomatoes, clematis and deep rooted nursery stock

Longlife Pots
Long life biodegradable Vitapots are designed to last 8 – 12 months for all types of plants where transplanting or repotting will occur after 10 months.
Deep pots allow for tap roots to grow straight down through the pot avoiding root ringing and allowing trees to establish themselves in the ground.
Applications:
• 100 – 125mm dwarf conifers, junipers, fuchsias and hypercium
• 160mm strawberry plants under glass, herbaceous plants and roses
• 190 x 230mm cropping pots for chrysanthemums, tomato and cucumber plants
• 120 x 180mm long tom and dixie pots
• Ideal for deep rooted shrubs
• 100 x 180mm narrow amipots taper to a 64mm base designed for tap rooted forest trees

Vitapot Biodegradable Pots
A range of biodegradable pots made from organic wood pulp, recycled paper, textile bres and pure bitumen. Vitapots allow root growth through the pot material, and are designed to be planted directly into soil or compost to avoid root disturbance, damage and any check in growth.
• Vitapots decompose naturally due to soil microbial activity
• Do not tear when handled, even when wet, or break when dropped
• Lightweight and easy to handle
• Provide an ideal, healthy growing environment
Planters
Two season Vitapots are designed for all types of nursery stock and trees grown above ground. Strong root penetration will occur if pots are partially buried in wet peat.
Deep pots allow for tap roots to grow straight down through the pot avoiding root ringing and allowing trees to establish themselves in the ground.
Applications:
• 250mm for fruit and standard trees
• 360mm for very large plants (32L)
• Rose Planters helps avoid harsh pruning due to the depth of pot
